We think of our spirits as agricultural products, like the way the best estate winemakers think of their wines. We think what happens in the ground is as important to product quality as what happens in the distillery. That’s why ALL our growers are USDA-certified organic or Demeter Biodynamic®, and why we pay them premium prices for their fruit, almost 200% higher than going market prices. In 2008 we worked with 5 growers, all within 10 miles of the Peak Spirits distillery.

Jack Rabbit Hill, Demeter-certified Biodynamic®/USDA-certified Organic by Stellar (Demeter), owned and operated by the Hansons, grow grapes for CapRock Organic Vodka, and the Estate Biodynamic Chardonnay, Pinot and Riesling Grappas. JRH is also the home of the Peak Spirits distillery.

Gunnison River Farms, USDA-certified organic by Stellar (Demeter), owned and operated by the Herricks, grow Red Globe, Newhaven and Cresthaven peaches for Peach Eau de Vie and Peak Peach Aperitif, and apricots for Apricot Eau de VIe. They’re also partners with Jack Rabbit Hill in Peak Spirits. 6 miles from the distillery.

Ela Family Farms, USDA-certified organic by CO Dept of Ag, owned and operated by the Elas, grow our Rosa & Cresthaven peaches, Green Bartlett pears for Peak Peach and Pear Eaux de Vie, and Braeburn and Jonathon apples for CapRock Dry Gin, Peak Apple Aperitif and Apple Eau de Vie. 7 miles from the distillery.

Mountain Spirits Orchards, USDA-certified organic by CO Dept of AG, owned and operated by Willy Groome and Steve Lewis, grow Golden, Jonathon and Jonagold apples for CapRock Dry Gin, Apple Eau de Vie and Peak Apple Aperitif. 9 miles from the distillery.

Rogers Mesa Fruit, USDA-certified organicby CO Dept of AG, managed by Tom Alvi, is an organic packing company that sources apples and pears for Peak Spirits. 8 miles from the distillery.
